Porsche Design Chronotimer original watch movement – 25 Jewels.

The Porche Design Chronotimer automatic movement is based on the automatic chronograph 7750 Valjoux and it has a lever escapement, 25 jewels, mono-metallic balance, 28,800 BPH, Incabloc shock absorber.

The movement has overlapping circular patterns “œil-de-perdrix” finishing, the oscillating weight is decorated with “Cotes de Geneve” stripes and it has the pd logo. The movement is marked TWENTY-FIVE | (25) JEWELS | ADJ. TO FIVE (5) POS. | 7750.

The layout is the standard 7750 Valjoux layout with small seconds at 9:00, chronograph seconds by central watch hand, 30 minutes at 12:00 and 12 hours at 6:00. The date opening is at 3:00, with white numbers on a black disc. This is an original date-only watch movement by fabrication, not a day/date.

The movement works well and is keeping a pretty accurate time. As for any other vintage or used movement, a basic revision is recommended.

Very good overall condition, with some small blemishes on the date disc.
