TAWATEC – TActical WAtch TEChnology – is a Swiss watches trademark, owned by the SMW Swiss Military Watch Company SA, famous for their tritium watches. TAWATEC’s motto, “The darker the brighter“, stems from its trigalights, the self-powered illumination components. Both SMW and TAWATEC are now liquidated and the production of these watches is discontinued.
The trigalight self-powered illumination technology, which delivers luminescence without an external energy source, is delivered by hairlights (an mb-microtec proprietary technology) with an outer diameter of only 0.30 mm.
Tawatec T25 features a Swiss Sellita SW 200 automatic movement with hack feature, 26 Jewels, power reserve ca. 38 hours. The watch comes with both rubber and textile straps and it’s a “right hand” type of watch.

Excellent condition, no box, no papers. The watch is working and keeping a pretty precise time, but as for any other used or vintage watch, a basic revision is recommended.
