Ancient Column Wheel Chronograph Pocket Watch Movement

Vintage pocket watch movement with column wheel chronograph.

Unfortunately I have no data or knowledge concerning the brand or the technical specifications of this movement, I don’t know if it is complete (please see the last photo).

Diameter: ca. 42.5 mm (19″‘)

On the movement face is scratched “Alfred Metayer 1881 1923“.

The movement works apparently well but it was never tested for precision. The chronograph function seems to be working. Obviously the movement needs a revision.
