Overview
This is a complete 39 mm watch case assembly for the TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 11, a model first introduced in 1969 as one of the world’s first automatic chronograph watches. The Monaco’s square case design, originally crafted for the Heuer brand before the TAG merger, remains one of the most recognizable in horology due to its bold geometry and motorsport heritage.
This case is made from 316L stainless steel with a combination of brushed and polished finishes, replicating the original factory specifications. The assembly includes the case middle, fixed bezel, sapphire crystal, screw-down case-back, crown, chronograph pushers, and all case screws. The case-back features a sapphire exhibition window, while the crown is signed with the historic Heuer logo—consistent with pre-1985 production models. All components are original TAG Heuer service parts, intended for refurbishment or restoration of the same reference.
Condition is graded Excellent in our Condition Grading Scale below, with no visible signs of wear, oxidation, or tool marks. The sapphire crystal is free of scratches, and all threads (crown, case-back, pusher tubes) are intact. This assembly does not include a movement, dial, hands, or strap—only the case components listed in the specifications.

Diameter: 39 mm (excluding crown). Lug-to-lug distance: 40.5 mm. Lug width: 22 mm, compatible with standard Monaco straps and bracelets from the Calibre 11/12 series. Case thickness: 14.5 mm (including crystal and case-back). Material: 316L stainless steel with brushed vertical surfaces and polished chamfers. Crystal: flat sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the underside, original TAG Heuer specification. Case-back: screw-down, exhibition-style with sapphire window. Water resistance: 100 meters (10 ATM), as marked on the case-back.

Compatibility
